The "Tortoise Evening" held on the 28th April 2009 was a great success!

This educational lecture evening held for our tortoise owning clients was a great success with vet Kate Everett explaining how to build outdoor enclosures for your tortoises, basic first aid and then a question and answer session which ended up covering numerous topics including suitable diets, husbandry, and even touching on how to make your soil better for growing tortoise friendly weeds!!

We had a terrific turnout and were over subscribed! It was so nice to see so many people come together for this evening. Much information was exchanged and there was an opportunity for clients to ask staff specific questions about the care of their treasured chelonians!

Watch this space! we will be running another one of these educational evenings when it's "thinking about hibernation" time, and of course we are always available for consultations.
